We offer a wide variety of volunteer opportunities to fit all schedules and interests. Some examples include:
- Assisting at classroom parties (Homeroom Parent)
- Helping with school events like Fun Night or the Fun Run
- Distributing yearbooks or school supplies
- Punching cards for Crocker Cruisers
- Planning teacher appreciation meals & treats
- Joining a planning committee or serving as a Homeroom Parent
- Lending your skills for communications, spiritwear, or fundraising

📌 Important Requirements for Volunteering
To ensure a safe environment for all students, Ankeny Community School District requires the following for ALL school volunteers:
✅ Volunteer Handbook — Must be completed each school year
✅ Background Check — Required every five years
Both must be completed and approved before volunteering at any event or in the classroom.
