The Crocker PTO Board works closely with Committee Chairs to manage the day-to-day organization, planning, and execution of all PTO-sponsored activities and events. The board includes:

π§ Childcare
Coordinates childcare providers for PTO meetings. Also collaborates with 5th grade teachers and students to help staff childcare support as needed.

Manages the schoolβs volunteer email list and ensures important PTO updates are shared in a timely manner. This role also oversees content for Crockerpto.org and the Crocker PTO Facebook page, keeping families informed and connected
throughout the year.
π Crocker Spirit Wear
Works with our spirit wear vendor to manage designs of school-branded apparel and merchandise. Responsibilities include promoting spirit wear, coordinating how orders will be placed (online store), and delivery date to the school.
π Crocker Cruisers
Our student running program held during lunch recess on Tuesdays and Thursdays (11:00 – 1:05) in the fall and spring. Students work toward running a full marathon and earn charms and rewards along the way.
π Volunteers needed! Sign up to punch cards, hand out charms, and cheer on our runners.
π¨βπ©βπ§ Family Activities
Plans fun, family-friendly events throughout the school year like:
- Movie Nights
- Pool Parties
- Skate Nights
- Restaurant Nights (Wendy’s, Hy-Vee, etc.)
π Fun Night
A school-wide evening of games, inflatables, prizes, and raffles!

ποΈ Wristbands:
- $10: Wristband
- Siblings welcome β each child needs their own wristband
- No wristbands needed for adults/spectators
π Tokens won at games can be redeemed in the Prize Room (closes at 7 PM).
ποΈ Raffle tickets: $1 each, 6 for $5, 13 for $10 β drawn at 6:15 PM. You do not need to be present to win!
Pre-order wristbands (2 weeks before event) or buy at the door (cash/card).
π° Fundraisers
Oversees all fundraising efforts throughout the year, including:
- Fall Fundraiser – Fun Run
- Spring Fundraiser (ex. coin challenge, silly string etc.)
Handles logistics, communication, and order fulfillment.
π Teacher Appreciation
Plans and delivers staff appreciation events, including:
- Monthly treats and activities
- Meals during parent-teacher conferences
All events are supported through donations and volunteer help from families.
βοΈ School Supplies
Coordinates spring school supply kit sales with the vendor. Works to ensure smooth delivery and distribution of kits before the first day of school.
π Volunteer / Homeroom Parent
Homeroom Parents help organize 3 classroom parties (fall, winter, spring), along with planning something special for the teacherβs birthday. This is a great way to connect with your childβs class!
πΈ Yearbook
Responsible for the creation and publication of the Crocker yearbook. Duties include:
Managing orders and communications
Collecting event photos
Organizing layouts and class pages
Working with the yearbook publisher
Sorting and distributing final books to school
