PTO Board
Working with Committee Chairs, the PTO Board manages the daily organization and activities of the entire Crocker Parent Teacher Organization. Childcare
Manages childcare providers for PTO meetings includes working with 5th grade teachers and students. Back to Top
Communications/Website
Responsible for maintaining a current school volunteer email list. When needed they send out various communications using this list. They are also responsible for creating, maintaining, and obtaining information/content for the Crockerpto.org website and Facebook page. Back to Top
Crocker Spiritwear
Responsible for ordering, stocking, publicizing and selling school-related merchandise. This includes creating and sending out order forms and working at various school events throughout the year.
Crocker Cruisers
Our student running program, Crocker Cruisers. We are looking for volunteers to help during our lunch recess times on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is from 10:10 a.m. – 1:25 pm. Please click the link below if you are interested in volunteering. Back to Top
Family Activities
Plans and coordinates Crocker family events throughout the school year, such as movie nights, swim parties, skate parties, Wendy’s/Hy-Vee nights, etc. Works with Volunteer Chair to provide volunteers to greet students and families at these events. Back to Top
Field Day
Plans and facilitates Crocker’s Field Day, includes coordinating volunteers/donations, designing and running games/activities and working with teachers, staff & students. For more information, click on the Field Day page. Back to Top
Fun Night
Join us Saturday, TBD, at Crocker Elementary from 4-7 pm for an evening of fun!. Costs: $10 per child for a game wristband $5 per child for an inflatable wristband One game wristband is needed for every child to participate in the games. A game wristband and an inflatable wristband is needed to participate in both inflatables and games. Spectators and parents do not need to purchase a wristband. Siblings are welcome to participate, but would need their own wristband. Children can earn prizes or tokens at all the games. (No tokens or prizes for inflatables.) Tokens can be redeemed in the prize center for a variety of prizes! The Prize Room will close at 7 pm. All tokens need to be redeemed before 7 pm. An advance order form for the wristbands is attached and is due back to Crocker by Friday, April 1. Game and inflatable wristbands purchased in advance will be sent home with Crocker students before the event. Wristbands will also be available for purchase at the door from 4-6 pm. Cash or Check only for door sales. A Raffle will also be held during Fun Night. Tickets can be purchased in the media center from 4-6:30 pm. Raffle tickets are $1 per ticket or $5 for 6 tickets. Cash, Card, or Check only. Raffle prizes will be drawn around 6:30 p.m. You do not need to be present to win. Back to Top
Fundraiser
Coordinates the sales of fundraising products and activities throughout the school year, including collecting and filling orders. Fundraising efforts include our Fall fundraiser featuring Crocker Family Recipe Cookbook, Entertainment books and Spelling/Math Bee challenge. Back to Top
Teacher Appreciation
Plans and implements staff appreciation events, including monthly events/treats and conference dinners. Staff appreciation relies on donations from parents throughout the entire year! Back to Top
School Supplies

Volunteer/Homeroom Parent
As a Homeroom Parent you will work with other parents for your child’s classroom to help plan and support 3 classroom parties (fall, winter, spring). This group is also responsible for making arrangements for the Teacher’s birthday. Back to Top
Yearbook
Responsible for creating and publishing the school yearbook. The committee will obtain photos of all major school events, communicate with the yearbook publisher to determine publishing parameters and organize student photos in the yearbook. The committee also sends out order forms and coordinates the distribution of the books once completed. Back to Top
